Legal Discussion of China’s SCS Land Reclamation – Chia-Huan Chang (中文)

February 21, 2017 @ 17:30 - 18:30

Free

Join us Tuesday, February 21, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Center for Strategic and International Studies for a lecture and discussion (in Chinese, of course!) on the legal status of China’s South China Sea maritime reclamation activities.

Tensions in the South China Sea are not going to diminish any time soon. This makes it a good time to look at China’s SCS island-building activities from a new angle: that of Taiwan. Chia-Huan Chang is a visiting fellow at CSIS, and an expert on the international law of the sea. In Taiwan, he serves as an instructor at National Defense University. Chang will share his views as both a legal scholar and naval expert.

To attend, RSVP via the link on this page!
