On July 30, Xi Jinping used 勇往直前 to describe the spirit of the PLA. Recognizing that most of you won’t be speaking in front of troops, we chose this 成语 because it can also be used in everyday situations. Other 成语, such as 浴血奋战…well, not so useful.
