CGD Visiting Policy Fellowship – China Initiative

The Center for Global Development (CGD) is seeking to promote research on China’s global role as a development policy actor by attracting a mid-career or senior-level policy and/or research professional to work at the Center for up to two years. As an independent, non-profit research organization based in Washington, D.C., CGD works to reduce global poverty and improve lives through innovative economic research that drives better policy and practice by the world’s top decision makers.

The visiting policy fellow will have the opportunity to be part of CGD’s rich intellectual life while working on an independent policy project designed to overcome a clearly identified development policy obstacle. Relevant research topics for this fellowship could include: Chinese official finance, including Chinese foreign aid; Chinese trade and investment policies as they affect developing countries; China’s multilateral engagement; and the institutional architecture associated with China’s international engagement.
